The Sierre Express will be back on 10 May as one of Sierre's regular events. As in previous years, this is an orienteering race to discover the Sierre region and its surroundings. Unusual or little-known places will be discovered in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
Teams of two or three people will travel by their own means, in search of the next stop to reach. At each station, the teams will have to solve a riddle and/or complete a challenge in order to get the clue that will reveal the next destination. Any outside help, such as mobile phones or money, is forbidden!
The race is open to anyone over the age of 18 and costs 39CHF per person. Registration is open and available on the JCI Sierre website.
This year, the heart of the race will be in the Place du Séquoia. There will be entertainment all day long. There will be food and drink stalls, a face painting stand for children from 1pm to 5pm, and a great concert with Nameless at 3pm. And, of course, the long-awaited prize-giving ceremony at 6pm. An incredible atmosphere that you won't want to miss!
And if you'd like to support us, we'd be delighted to welcome you as a volunteer!
This year, we're delighted to be working with ASLEC (Association Sierroise de Loisirs Et Culture). A cheque will be presented to them at the end of the day, during the prize-giving ceremony. The association will also be on hand throughout the day at the Place du Sequoia to provide on-site entertainment.
You can find all the information and the programme for the day on our website www.jcisierre.ch and on our Instagram page @sierreexpress!
