Olivier Lovey, a Swiss photographer born in Martigny in 1981, is a graduate of the Vevey School of Photography. Winner of several awards, including the Prix Réponses Photo (2014), the Swiss Photo Award (2018) and the Enquête photographique valaisanne 2 (2020), he has exhibited in Switzerland and abroad, notably at the Images Festival in Vevey(2018), Athens Photo Festival (2019), Ferme Asile in Sion (2019) and Feature Shoot Emerging Photography Awards in New York(2020).
His artistic approach explores photographic techniques to create interactive and immersive works. Olivier Lovey adapts his work to the specificity of the site, creating unique interventions that engage in dialogue with the environment and the public.
Using moiré for this exhibition, he superimposes two screens to generate coloured patterns that come to life as spectators pass by, transforming the space into a living work in which the public becomes an integral part.
Pierre Daendliker, a photographer and film-maker who graduated from the Vevey School of Photography and the ECAL, is presenting his first exhibition of photographs taken from his daily life. His work has a colourful, impressionistic aesthetic, in which strong contrasts of light, flares and the use of focus blur alter reality. Finally, the addition, here and there, of human presences plunges the viewer into a strange reverie.
