The SIMILI QUEER CIRCUS is a one-week 'lightning' project that brings together professional artists and young amateurs to question and celebrate the diversity of identities through circus and art in general. Understanding what it means to be queer today is more relevant than ever.

The SIMILI QUEER CIRCUS symbolises our ongoing quest to push the boundaries of artistic expression. It brings together artists of different ages and backgrounds to reflect and act on the future, highlighting contemporary themes and forging nuanced and renewed circus identities. This very short period of research will not result in a finished show, but in a form of experimental circus performance, a collage of tableaux and reflections that will have emerged during the week.

3 AUGUST - AFTER THE PRESENTATION: DJ Night Mïca Meltœ

Since 2017 Mïca Meltœ has been mixing genres and getting the night dancing to the sounds of Neoperreo x Baile funk x Hip-hop x Club XP x Global beats tracks. The musical alter-ego of artist Maïc Baxane, Mïca Meltœ is resident DJx at La Mutinerie (Paris) and mixes to get people sweating on queer, inclusive and very hot dancefloors (Wet For Me, Beautiful Skin, La Kidnap'...)
